We’re very excited to announce that Oris is the Official Timekeeper and Sustainability Partner of France’s Ligue de Football Professional (LFP) and its competitions, Ligue 1 Uber Eats and Ligue 2 BKT.

Why football? Football is the world’s sport and brings people together in a unique way, giving it incredible power to bring change. Oris has been on a mission to bring Change for the Better for more than 20 years, collaborating with and supporting some of the world’s leading agents of change in conservation and humanitarianism. This partnership continues our mission.
And why the LFP? The LFP is France’s leading professional football league and the fourth in Europe with 530 million viewers around the world. It also leads the world’s professional football leagues on sustainability. For the past seven years, it’s been running a programme called ‘Playing as a team’. In 2021 alone, the league actioned 2,500 activities focused on subjects such as health, the fight against racism and homophobia, child protection and quality of work and wellbeing. Oris x LFP is the perfect match.
The LFP also runs what it calls the ‘League of Talents’, celebrating the incredible talent on and off the pitch that characterises French football. Oris shares the same approach: the Oris Movement Creation Programme, spearheaded by the Calibre 400 Series, is highly innovative and is setting the new standard in Swiss watchmaking, while our design, production, distribution, sales and marketing teams are world-class, too.
17 United Nations Sustainability Development Goals The three-year partnership also ties into our commitment to the 17 United Nations Sustainability Development Goals (SDGs). Off the back of our partnership with the LFP, we’re also now signed up to Football for the Goals, a programme set up by the UN to help football fulfil those 17 SDGs. Oris x LFP conforms to a belief we’ve long held: that it’s only together we can bring Change for the Better.
