Michael J. LaViano, a first-generation master jeweler and Swiss-trained watchmaker, established a fledgling business in Westwood, N.J., in 1945. Since the store’s inception, MJ was dedicated to quality, providing his clients with the finest products available, regardless of price. Since 1945, the business has evolved into one of the most respected independent jewelry stores in the country and is still family-owned to this day.
