SLGH009 honors the 55th anniversary of 44GS, a Grand Seiko timepiece released in 1967 that established the design philosophy referred to as the Grand Seiko Style. This limited-edition timepiece comes with the brand’s signature 44GS case, done in Ever-Brilliant Steel for the first time in a Grand Seiko watch; a blue dial inspired by the sky; and Grand Seiko’s next-generation Hi-Beat 36000 automatic caliber, 9SA5.Ever-Brilliant Steel is a stainless-steel alloy that features even greater corrosion resistance than what is typically used across the watch industry today. Visually, it also has a brilliant white hue that enhances the beauty and finishing of the watch.
