Roberto Enrique Clemente Walker is a 20th century hero. Born the youngest of seven children in Puerto Rico in 1934, he would go on to become one of the greatest baseball players in the history of the game.
But he was more than a ballplayer. He was a passionate humanitarian and activist and lived to serve others by bringing real change in his home country and his local community. Roberto Clemente died serving others, at just age 38. But his name lived on and his legacy continues. For such a special man, and to reflect the work of such a special foundation, Oris has created the Roberto Clemente Limited Edition, a watch limited to 3,000 pieces to mark the number of hits Roberto had during his career in baseball.
