Throughout all of literary history, there has never been an original love story written exactly the same as any other. For over 70 years, here at LaViano Jewelers, we have had the honor in hearing the unique stories of those who visit us as they begin a new chapter in their real life fairytale. In this volume of Real Life Fairytales, we are told the story written by soon to be married couple, Justin and Lisa.
Justin and Lisa: OUR STORY
Lisa will say it was a sixth grade Boys & Girls Club Halloween dance. Justin will say it was the fifth grade. But in actuality, it was Communion in the second grade when we first laid eyes on each other. Though we had crossed paths in our younger years, it wasn’t until August 2013 that a classics night down the shore would bring us back into each other’s lives at just the right time.
Our first date was that Labor Day weekend at Houlihan’s (obviously Justin’s choice). We could have talked all night, but called it quits and Lisa traveled back to DC for work the next day. Weekend visits and long distance calls had us falling in love… it was only a matter of time before she would move home so that we could officially start our life together.
Here we are, about to say I do in front of our closest friends and family. It’s only fitting that we begin this next chapter at the same time this all started almost five years ago – Labor Day Weekend. We can’t wait to celebrate with you all. Thank you so much for being a part of our journey.

When the time came for Justin to find the perfect engagement ring, he knew he would get exactly what he was looking for at LaViano Jewelers. After carefully searching through different settings and stones with Jeanne, one of LaViano Jewelers long time sales employees, we were able to create exactly what he was looking for; a stunning platinum and diamond engagement ring featuring a round diamond set in a classic four prong setting. With the perfect ring for his perfect person, Justin knew his proposal had to be something special. With the help of Lisa’s brothers, they were able to plan a romantic surprise proposal she was never expecting. Justin popped the question on the Bow Bridge in Central Park, NYC and she said yes! After much excitement and celebration for the couple’s new engagement, it was time to start planning their special day. Justin and Lisa set their date for the following year in August 2018. With so many decisions to make and only a year to get everything ready, the choice was easy when it came to where they would choose their wedding bands.
When the couple came in to LaViano Jewelers to see Jeanne, she was so excited to hear their wonderful news and meet Lisa. Having over 30 years of jewelry experience, Jeanne new just what they were looking for. The couple made the decision on two beautiful rings that were just right.

The couple is scheduled to be married at the end of this month on August 30, 2018 at St. Josephs Church in Lodi, where they will not only be starting a brand new chapter of their lives, but a whole new story together. Congratulations Justin and Lisa!
